Okay, you got me. Based off of the title of this blog post, I bet you can guess what one of the major keys was to taking Wix to the next level. If you guessed SEO, you are absolutely correct.

I threw that entire blurb in about myself so you can understand that I often get this question of: Is Wix SEO Friendly?
I want to make it clear that I am not an advocate for a short yes or no answer. If you are like me, you would like a clear explanation of an answer before making a decision on the platform you choose to build your business's website.

Thankfully, Wix is an incredible platform. They give you the complete recipe to instantly be listed on Google. When you build a website on Wix, you are provided the tools to take your website to Google and rank. Although, this does involve some work and effort on your end. If you are willing to invest time into your SEO like you invested into developing and designing your website, you will become a well-ranked website on Google.

If you did not know, Google is taking high consideration into mobile websites when they rank. Why? Well, nearly 60% of Google's overall searches happen on mobile. This is a huge percentage when putting that into perspective.
Google wants to ensure that whether a visitor is on mobile or desktop they get the same great content and experience.
How does Wix rank in this mobile-friendly mix?
Well, they rank just as well if not better than any other website creation platforms. Wix even has a mobile editor that allows you to translate your same thrilling desktop experience over to mobile.
I often hear people say, "Wix is good but you cannot create responsive websites in Wix." This is somewhat true. Wix is not naturally responsive, but you can literally create an entire mobile site in Wix from your desktop experience by switching to the Mobile Editor and hitting the Page Optimizer.
By the way, any changes you make in the mobile editor will not effect your desktop website.

So, is Wix SEO friendly?
In my honest and professional opinion, Wix is not only SEO friendly, but user-friendly as well.
